Submit a presentation proposal now through August 18
We invite YOU to star in a leading role by presenting on the e-learning innovations, strategies, and successes happening at your college. Presentations are encouraged that align with this year’s theme: Lights! Camera! Action! Remake Distance Learning
- Lights: Spotlight on Student Success, Quality, and Compliance (Accessibility and State Authorization)
- Camera: Showcase of Innovative Tools and Instructional Pedagogies making a scene in Distance Learning
- Action: Focus on Active Learning and Engagement through effective tool use, collaboration and communication, instructor presence, learning support services, and more

Speaker in a Leading Role
Dr. Lodge McCammon’s instructional methods, research, stories, and songs have inspired thousands around the world to make significant changes in the way they teach and learn. Most notably, he has developed resources and strategies that have helped many instructors move from passive, lecture-based classrooms toward active, student-centered learning environments. Jennifer Haygood currently serves as the Chief of Staff for the NC Community College System. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the internal operations of the System Office and creating a fully integrated, highly performing System Office team that supports the System’s mission. James (Jim) Parker is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the North Carolina Community College System. He has more than 20 years of executive leadership in IT operations, programs, organizational change and business development across federal/state government and the private sectors. Conference Venue and Hotel
The conference will take place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton RTP, located at 210 Harrison Oaks Blvd. in Cary, NC.
A special rate of $144 per night (plus tax) is available for conference attendees. Includes complimentary wi-fi, free parking, cooked-to-order breakfast, and appetizers and beverages each evening.
You must reserve by 5 pm on September 22 to qualify for the discounted rate.
