2011 eLearning Awards

2011 eLearning Awards 
Presented by the North Carolina Community College Association of Distance Learning

Three awards will be presented during our upcoming November 2011 conference: 

  • eLearning Pioneer – This award will go to an individual who has worked as a trailblazer to promote the growth of Distance Learning at their college and/or state-wide. The work of this individual can include a focus on technology, instruction, student services, administration, policy or procedure. Nominations should include information about the years of service in distance learning, examples of collaboration and innovative strategies.
  • eLearning Innovator – This award will go to an online faculty member who has embraced innovative methods in the online classroom with demonstrated results in both retention and student success. Nominations should include information about years teaching online, data from student surveys and examples of student collaboration.
  • Learning Object of the Year – This award will go to the creator of a Learning Object which was contributed to the NC Learning Object Repository. This Learning Object must demonstrate quality, usability, accessibility while meeting a clear learning objective.

The winners of these awards will be selected by the Executive Board of the NC3ADL and selected representatives from the NCLOR . Winners will receive a plaque and a prize at the November conference. Individuals can nominate others or themselves using the forms below.
